City/Flower 2 oil paintings woven together 24 x 24 inches $1,200 This is an experiment with conflict. I painted a dahlia, larger than full-canvas, then a monochrome gray cityscape (a view of New York, that most overwhelmingly archetypal city). The result is chaotic and full of conflict, like a city in flames. I guess it reflects my general views on city living. |
