		The Burden Oil Painting 24 x 30 inches $800 This was painted from a vacation snapshot taken by a friend in Peru. The photo had no discernable background. I tried a new technique (for me) which was painting in color and then dribbling media over it to make watercolor-like streaks and blotches. I’ve used this a lot in later paintings. I loved the look of patient endurance on this woman’s face, her strength. © 2002 Kathy Keenan
