I have been involved with photography since about the age of 10. I grew up in Rochester, New York (home of Kodak). I frequently would bicycle over to the Eastman House to gawk at all their exhibits. The Eastman House has been beautifully restored in more recent years. I recommend a visit to anyone who can. For those who can't there is always their web site at http://www.eastmanhouse.org/.

In the 1990's I became reinspired and returned to photography. Initially it was only for my enjoyment. Then friends wanted prints. Then I began showing my works at galleries, restaurants, offices and other venues.

There are many photographers who I find inspiring (including many not listed here). Naturally I love Ansel Adams and Edward Weston. Among more contemporary photographers I admire are Christopher Burkett (truly awesome), Jerry Uelsmann, Maggie Taylor, John Paul Caponigro and Bill Atkinson. My work is different from each of these photographers. They (and many others) provide me with inspiration.
